Infrastructure Capabilities

The production facility at Nasa Engineering incorporates a full-fledged laboratory equipped with the latest equipment/gadgets that help in the design and engineering team to perform the following:

Design products from non-specifics.
Develop custom compounds for specific applications.
Perform extensive testing of the products according to industry performance requirements.

Tool Room & Inspection Lab

NASA ENGINEERING manufactures a wide variety of highly sophisticated Engineering Plastics components at our fully equipped Tool Room where we have lathe, surface grinder, milling and other conventional machines. We have the skilled manpower and the knowledge to produce quality moulds for a range of various sizes, shapes and designs so that they can be used in industries such as the packaging industry and the automotive industry to name a couple. Our highly skilled technicians produce and assemble our moulds to ensure the quality of the end product is of the highest standard.

Injection Moulding

NASA ENGINEERING has the capability to create a variety Engineered Plastics Components or parts by utilizing Microprocessor controlled injection moulding machines with a clamping tonnage range of between 50 to 200 Tons. Our well established Plant and the trained Technical staff at NASA ENGINEERING work to ensure all Engineering Plastics Components are manufactured according to Processing parameters with the goal of providing the highest quality Engineered Plastics Components possible while minimizing Waste and ensuring uniform Quality. Our clean and orderly working environment provides for maximum Aesthetic Quality of the finished product. Our moulding machines such as those manufactured by Romex and Electronica allow NASA ENGINEERING to manufacture Parts up to 300 grams in weight. In addition we are utilising equipment and systems such as Hot Runners, Temperature Controllers, Chillers, Hopper loaders and Dryers to reduce the overall Processing time allowing NASA ENGINEERING to continue with providing on time delivery of all Products.

Design and Engineering

The CAD/CAM equipment in the design area, along with CAE tools such as SolidWorks and Pro/E, will allow us to produce the most optimal designs for each component while considering the most adaptable way for it to be used; the tooling needed to manufacture it; and what it will cost.

Using a solid modelling system to create an extremely complicated product design into an actual 3D Conceptual Product provides an opportunity to assess how the product can be manufactured and assembled.
